The Singapore Architect

The Singapore Architect (TSA) is a quarterly journal of the Singapore Institute of Architects. We have been in print since 1958, then known as RUMAH.

Each issue of TSA is an in-depth study of the built environment and how it relates to the social, economic, and cultural context. This is done through features of new buildings as well as interviews and essays on current topics.

TSA is available at bookstores such as Basheer Graphic Books, Kinokuniya, BooksActually, WH Smith and Popular Bookstores.

BEING AN ARCHITECT IN THE TIME OF COVID-19

“In the course of our work, the spaces we take great effort to construct facilitate connections to be made between people - our clients, the community, in commerce. In these strange and quiet times each of us is given the opportunity to learn more about our own domestic space, its intimate details and our loved ones who share it with us.”

—  Teo Yee Chin, Chief Editor TSA
